About the Low Ground Clearance Sign

A crossing that sits high above the road on either side can catch a low-slung trailer or bus and leave it stuck on the tracks. MUTCD Section 8B.17 lets the W10-5 symbol sign warn of it, often with the LOW GROUND CLEARANCE plaque (W10-5P) below. Drawn from FHWA's official artwork.
